I love watching my kids "get it", it really makes all the hard mom moments totally worth it. Miss Ella has struggled with reading, she figured since she could not read like her sissy then she just could not read. She struggled, she got frustrated and we just kept chugging along, sometimes tearfully. Well in the last month or two I have watched my girl spread her wings and take off. She reads everything with such passion. Library books take on a whole new meaning for her and even chapter books are not so scary anymore. My Ella Joy is a reader, a good one and this mama is proud.
