Rambling Reflections.

I liked this year. I did not get it all right, still have plenty to be better at, but all in all I like this year.

I set a serious goal and I met it!

I took a class and learned.

I fell more in love with the sweetest little boy.

I did cool things with my girls.

I snuggled.

I read stories

I was inspired and challenged by amazing friends.

I smiled many times over sweet simple gifts.

I watched them grow and change.

I celebrated new life with special friends.

I watched her keep trying and become very good at things she didn't think she could do.

I said goodbye to this sweet smile and welcomed the silly toothless one.

I hugged and kissed to much, I embarassed often. I promise that will not change.

(this pictures makes me laugh so much, Janice really loves unpacking)

I was blessed with friends. Great friends, the kind your heart recognizes as family. I don't have pictures of you all but I hope you know who you are.
You mean more than I could ever express.

I got to kiss this guy everyday, much to my children's dismay ;o)

I am blessed. This is only a small portion of the things that make me happy.  I look forward to growing more as a wife, mother and friend this year.
I look forward to kicking fanny at this years Iron Girl with a whole pack of my friends and family!
I look forward to the challenges God allows. Excited for what He will teach me and how He will change me with each one.

.....and on a purley selfish note I look forward to upgrading the camera and growing more in that area.

Happy 2012 to you all!

Thankful Day 25

Yay! Thankful for the begining of all the wonderful magic that christmas holds.

Thankful Day 24

I love thanksgiving. It's hard to feel bad on this day. This is the second year I have changed up our traditions and it still feels a bit weird it is a good change.

Marcelina and I ran a 5k, she did awesome. Little did I know sister was coming down with a sore throat and would later have a fever. We made it home in time to watch Santa cross over Herald Square and then on to a nice afternoon with yummy food and great family.

My sweet superstar, starting to feel icky.

"I do not recal asking for that kiss"

Apparently he thought the prayer went to long.

My little lady all snuggled up in her blanket nest.

We are thankful and full, hope the same is true for you.

Thankful Day 23

Very thankful for the daddy  my kids have and how they love him.

Thankfulness Day's 18,19,20,21,22

aka- wow I keep falling behind but I really am thankful each day.

Thankful for cousins. Growing up (and now) I truly had the best, real cream of the crop. I am excited to see my kids have a fun relationship with theirs. Three are in Florida but when we are together it's is really like no time passed.

Thankful my buddy has one of his best buddies home.

So thankful for a fun race day. We all did our best and went home feeling proud and stong.
Marcelina will be doing her first 5k with me Thursday morning and I am pretty excited to share this with her.

So super duper thankful that 38 years ago a little baby boy was born in a land far far away (ok fine not that far) and that he would grow to be my prince.

Thankful that my lady feels so confident in her new glasses.....

...and that sometimes she is just as crazy as her "weird mommy"

Thankfulness Days 15, 16 & 17

I am so thankful for MOPS. 10 years of great teaching, encouragement, friendships and understanding.

I was watching these leaves hang on even though the wind was doing all it could to get them to let go.

Thankfulness Day 14

(another cell phone shot)

I am thankful for my kids imagination. I am not a very good "player" I use to beat myself up over this, not any more. It is fun to sit back and watch what they come up with. Way cooler than anything I could do.
