I love this girl of mine. She is cautious and wants to be good at anything she tries. She has been riding since she was five. She is a natural around animals, she is calm and peaceful and they just like her. Riding the past four year has been so good for her little character. She is learning it's ok to not be perfect, that actually learning to do something well takes time. Taking things at her own pace works well for her, the past few lessons she has been so on her game, jumped another hurdle so to speak. My heart swelled tonight as I saw her take off and cantor, even better she stayed relaxed, smiled and really loved what she was doing. Again she reminds me to give her the space she needs and she will get to where she wants to go.
